Planning Commission
  • The Planning Commssion consist of nine members who plans for the general physical development for the City of Sandusky.  The plan will promote the health, safety, morals, order, convenience, prosperity and general welfare for the citizens of Sandusky.  The Mayor appoints each member of the Planning Commission.  A member of the commission shall be a citizen and taxpayer of the City of Sandusky and shall serve without compensation for a three year term.

     

Zoning Board of Appeals

  •  The Zoning Board of Appeals consist of five members with up to two alternates appointed by the City Council.  The Board hears and decides any appeal to the Zoning Ordinance.  A member of the board shall be a resident of the City for at least one year prior to the date of appointment and shll be a qualified and registered elector of the City and shall serve without compensation for a three year term.

 

Board of Review

  • The Board of Review consist of three members appointed by City Council.  The Board examines assessement rolls and corrects any error or deficiencies found.  A member must be an elector of the City of Sandusky.  Compensation shall be set and reviewed by City Council.

 

Cemetery Board

  • The Cemetery Board consist of five members appointed by the Mayor.  The Board meets twice annually to establish cemetery administration policy and direct the Superintendent's overall management of the cemetery.  A member shall be a resident of the City of Sandusky and serve without compensation for a five year term.

 

Housing Commission

  • The Housing Commission cosist of five members appointed by the Mayor.  A member shall be a resident of the City of Sandusky and serve without compensation for a five year term.
