The Department of Public Works (DPW) operates and maintains the City’s water systems, handles street maintenance, repair, and cleaning. Snow removal, leaf and brush pick-up are also administered by the DPW. Our goal is to provide quality services to the Sandusky community with pride, courtesy, and commitment. Brush Chipping is the first and third Monday of each month.  The first 15 minutes are free to City residents and any minute after 15 minutes will be $1.00 each additional minute.  For more information please contact Matt Harris at the above number. 

Snow Removal - Sidewalks, both residential and commercial,  should be cleared within 24 hours after snow has ceased to fall; otherwise the City will come in and remove the snow at the expense of the owner of the property. Chapter 21 Section 29.02.01 to 29.02.03.
